Cultivating a space for growth and resilience
My name is Ele and I am an integrative counsellor, working with a holistic and flexible approach, drawing from psychodynamic approaches, transpersonal, and person-centred theories, grounded in an understanding of each person’s lived experience. My practice recognises that everyone is unique, and I tailor therapy to the individual.
I offer a reflective and compassionate space where clients can explore their inner world, relationships, patterns, and meaning. My psychodynamic perspective supports a deeper insight into unconscious processes and early experiences, while my person-centred foundation ensures empathy, authenticity, and respect remain central to the therapeutic relationship. I also integrate transpersonal perspectives where appropriate, allowing room for questions of purpose, identity, and spiritual or existential experience.
My aim is to support clients in developing greater self-awareness, resilience, and personal agency through a collaborative and attuned therapeutic process. I am committed to inclusivity, equality, and diversity, and I welcome clients from all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. I strive to create a respectful and affirming therapeutic environment where difference is valued and each person feels seen and heard.
As an integrative practitioner I am guided by the needs of the individual. I can incorporate creative methods where helpful to support expression and insight and to further develop a deeper sense of self and authenticity. I have over two years of experience as a counsellor and I have worked with three separate organisations during this time. This also includes working with children and young people (16+ young adults) where I have worked in supporting issues including family dynamics, identity development, abuse, and trauma.
Alongside my background in education and mental health, I have worked with over 30 clients and hold specific qualifications for practicing within an online environment. I hold a certificate in working online safely and ethically with individuals. I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work in accordance with their ethical framework. I maintain regular clinical supervision to ensure safe, ethical, and effective practice. I also hold insurance for private practice.
